Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). Fall in Connecticut is a magical time. The changing of the leaves, events like corn mazes and pumpkin patches: it’s such a unique season. Everything combines to make a mystical autumn wonderland. Nothing brings in the joy of the season like a great fall festival, and Essex hosts an excellent one with their annual Scarecrow FestiFALL. This event takes place in October and will be a city-wide extravaganza of fall fun.
This year’s Essex Scarecrow FestiFALL is looking to be bigger and better than ever. Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 9. The fun begins at 2:00 p.m. You can get more information about the schedule of events at the Essex website.
