There is surely no shortage of shoreline in the Nutmeg State, between our Long Island Sound frontage and our amazing inland beaches in Connecticut along our lakes and rivers. With so many to choose from, it’s understandable that some of these beaches end up becoming better known than others. Places like Madison’s crowded Hammonasset Beach State Park are amazing and definitely deserving of the love, but we also have many more remote beaches that are just as worthy of a visit. One of our favorites is DuBois Beach in Stonington, CT. Tucked away at the very tip of Stonington Borough, it’s a stunningly beautiful area and the waterfront views here are some of the best in the state. Check it out:
