The northeast corner of Connecticut tends to get a bad reputation. The area is primarily rural, with few larger cities like we have on the coast. The area is so uneventful that it’s been nicknamed the “Quiet Corner.” One thing that the Quiet Corner is known for, though, is a variety of thrift and antique stores. You could spend all weekend exploring some of the bargain shops here. There’s nothing quite like the joy of finding hidden treasure at a great price. There are plenty of thrift stores in Connecticut’s quiet corner worth checking out. Here are a few of our favorites:

They frequently have live vendor shows and there's a high turnover of items, so stop in frequently to see what's new! You can find out more information on their Facebook.
