There’s a place in Connecticut called Pumpkintown U.S.A. and it’s so fun-filled that Yankee Magazine voted it one of the best pumpkin festivals in all of New England! So if you’ve never been to this incredible themed village, don’t miss your opportunity to check it out this year!
Pumpkintown U.S.A. is a small village dedicated to the love of autumn! So there's no better way to celebrate October, and no better place to find the perfect pumpkin!
Established in 1993, this charming village features a saloon, church, farm and more! Nearly 25,000 people visit the town each year, and each year the village grows in population. But who calls this tiny themed village home?
The Pumkinheads, of course! Leroy Butternut and Penelope Parton were its very first residents, and you can meet them and all 70 of their friends when you visit.
Stroll through the village and partake in fun, family-friendly weekend activities. Some of the fun includes a giant pumpkin moonbounce and face painting.
Take the mile-long hay ride to see the Pumpkinheads living in the woods before starting the search for the pumpkin of your dreams. They also have plenty of gourds and apples!
Located at 93 E High Street, East Hampton, CT 06424. Weekday admission is $2 for the village and $7 for the ride. On the weekends, admission is $6 for the village and $7 for the ride.
Check out this video for an even closer look at the village, including a peak at what’s in store on the Pumpkintown Hay Ride!
