So what makes a place heaven on earth? How about sweeping views that make you feel like you’re on the edge of the world, a lush natural surrounding that’s popping with vibrant colors, and even some waterfront views. Pistol Creek has all that and more!
Located in Berlin, Pistol Creek is a lush nature park with 3 paved trails.
Walk along Spruce Brook to hear the calming sounds of rushing water as you're enveloped by quiet. The only thing you'll hear is the brook and the chirping of birds.
The creek is a gorgeous sight in every season, and visitors are known to enjoy using this particular spot for personal reflection. But the escape this park allows is just the beginning of its allure.
The paved paths make for an easy terrain, and include these small wooden bridges to lead you deep into the park. At 3.2 miles, the South Path Loop is the longest trail (and the most fun)!
Get to the trail using 600 Spruce Brook Road, Berlin CT in your GPS and park in the YMCA lot. You will need to cross the street to enter the park area.
Pistol Creek isn’t the only edge in Connecticut you’ll enjoy. Visit this Hidden Peninsula for more spectacular views. Who knows what you might discover!
