She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). There are so many great places to celebrate Christmas in Connecticut. Whether you prefer going to our larger cities or our adorable small towns, there’s no shortage of spots that celebrate the season with a bang. We’ve got holiday celebrations like festivals and parades, fun activities that everyone in the family can enjoy, and small shops to find gifts for friends and family. One of our favorite Christmas small towns in Connecticut looks so charming that it could be right out of a Norman Rockwell painting. Collinsville is a little village with a population of under 4,000 that’s famous for its history in axe manufacturing. It also just so happens to be one of the best places to celebrate the holidays in the Nutmeg State.
