We love the shiny novelty of a great brand new restaurant, but there’s also something to be said about the old-fashioned restaurants in Connecticut that have been here for generations. After all, these places survive for a reason! One of the best is the humble little The Grotto in Waterbury. This spot doesn’t have a social media page or website, but it’s been serving up great Italian dishes and pizza for years and is beloved by the local community. Check it out:
