Today’s featured trail is an easy breezy hike that leads to some dizzying views. The Nepaug Dam Trail is a short, accessible hike that everyone will love.
Located in Collinsville, the Nepaug Dam Trail is a flat paved path that hugs the Nepaug Reservoir and crosses right over top of the dam.
At just one mile round trip, this trail is a wonderful spot to stretch your legs, take a breath of fresh air, and soak in the spectacular scenery year-round.
A suitable spot for all ages and abilities, the path is wide, flat, and paved. The level surface is easy going even for little legs, strollers, and wheelchairs.
Find the trailhead just off of Route 202 after the intersection with Route 179 in Collinsville.
