Memorial Day is the official start of summer and those backyard BBQs and parties are a great way to start the season. But if you really want to celebrate, then mark your calendars because June 2nd is the day to remember. Connecticut’s Little Poland Festival is one big event full of fantastic entertainment, food, and fun and it’s also the perfect way to kick off your summer season!
There's nothing small about the Little Poland Festival in New Britain. Last year this captivating event drew in more than 20,000 visitors from near and far to experience the festivities.
The festival has not one but two stages set up for live entertainment that continues all day long. Bands, choirs, and dancers will keep your foot tapping.
While the colorful and authentic costumes offer bright splashes of color to highlight the action on stage.
Carnival rides, games, and contests will put smiles on the faces of both the young and young at heart.
Arts and crafts, a vast array of unique shopping opportunities, and a friendly cast of costumed characters offer plenty of summer fun.
One of our favorite parts of this family-friendly and free festival is the authentic eats. Try old favorites and new offerings from the vendors cooking up Polish cuisine.
The Little Poland Festival is held on New Britain's Broad Street from Washington Street to the Silver Street intersections stretching five blocks long. The events on the two stages will begin at 11 a.m. on June 2, 2019.
