Often located behind churches, within wellness centers, or even in private gardens, these paths are intended for a meditative journey. The circuitous route allows for quiet reflection in nature and can be one of the most relaxing walks to take. While there are quite a few of these magical paths to check out in Connecticut, this labyrinth might be our favorite of all.

This natural space is so much more than just a garden. It's a retreat from everyday life where you can stroll, wander, ponder, and enjoy the beauty all around.
One place on the property is especially made for a contemplative walk. The stone labyrinth path was constructed in the medieval style.
The seven circuit labyrinth spans 28 feet in diameter. A mindful stroll along the stone bordered path might just be what you need to put life into perspective.
While you visit, take advantage of the other scenic spots at the Garden of Ideas. The marshland boardwalk is not only beautiful but affords some opportunity for checking out the local wildlife.
The gorgeous gardens are fragrant and colorful throughout the warmer month. But this spot is a four-season draw and just as enchanting when the colors of autumn appear or under a fresh dusting of snow.
Take a minute or more and climb into the treehouse. This easily accessible platform around a twisting tree is a charming spot to relax.
Discover whimsical sculpture scattered throughout the property. You can also purchase ornamental plants, garden sculpture, or fresh eggs from the resident chickens during your visit.
