Have you been outside lately, or traveled somewhere new? An easy hike that brings you to beautiful scenery like this is always a great time had by all. Why not take a hike soon? Planning this adventure is one beauty that won’t be a burden. Out here, things are simple and beauty is abundant. Who is ready to go hiking?
Welcome to Kent Falls via Appalachian Trail, a beautiful out-and-back style loop trail that leads you to an unforgettable view. What an adventure opportunity for a day outdoors!
Approximately 6.7 miles of trail doesn't take too long, but it does bring hikers through creeks, over small bridges, and plenty of gorgeous natural scenery.
Making your way through here is easy peasy for most, and between the wildflowers, water features, and wildlife, you'll be entertained the whole way. Everyone, especially kids, will enjoy pointing out and photographing all of the creatures you find.
All of this leads to a stunning payoff, a scene that is hard to match in the rest of the state. Out here, you really are alone with the beauty of the world around you.
The hike isn't too difficult, and only gains in about 150 feet of elevation. The path isn't wheel friendly, though, so be sure that you have good shoes before coming out.
Kent Falls State Park does charge an entrance fee of $15 on weekdays and holidays, and $10 on weekdays, so make sure that you've got a pass to park here.
