Because the Nutmeg State is so small, if you’ve lived here for a long time, it can sometimes feel like you’ve explored just about every inch of it already. There’s always more to see and do here, though – the number of hidden gems in Connecticut is astronomical! From under-appreciated museums to secluded parks, there’s so much to discover in our great state. One of our favorite secret spots is a beautiful little park tucked away near Mystic, CT. It’s a 30-acre preserve known as the Peace Sanctuary, and it’s quite easy to see why it got that name. Check it out:
