The scariest stretch of this road runs parallel the Means Brook Reservoir. People have reported shadowy figures darting from tree to tree, with increased reports during warmer days. Some say the spirits may try and spook you as you come around a bend. So be wary on this curvy road!

You will need to get permission from the water company before entering this abandoned stretch of road. The road connects Hamden to Bethany, but for some reason, was never paved and was then eventually closed off. People report strange apparitions and tree rustling.

Also known as Dracula Drive, it's rumored that a group of patients from a nearby mental hospital escaped and now live in the surrounding woods. It's a straight path with private drives so you can't venture into the woods, which is probably for the best. Strange things are lurking out there.
