She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). Fall in Connecticut is such a great time. Sure, we love the creepy and spooky stuff, but there’s also something special about the family-friendly events and festivals that are all over the state. One of our favorite fall events is the Nature’s Art Village Pumpkin Passage that takes place through weekends in October. There’s so much going on at this fun event, with plenty of entertainment for the entire family. Check it out:
Nature's Art Village is a wonderful 60-acre park with a variety of attractions for the entire family. The park is home to The Dinosaur Place, which includes a trail featuring more than 50 life-sized dinosaur models.
It's great fun to visit at any time of year, but it's especially magical during the weekends in October.
Pumpkin Passage is a family-friendly event that's focused on the fun side of Halloween rather than the frights that many other festivals and events tend to center on.
