One of our favorite parts about fall is the fairs and festivals that fill up the weekends in the Nutmeg State. But there’s one, in particular, that you’ll want to put on your calendar now. With a motto of “Eat, Drink, and Stink!” The Connecticut Garlic And Harvest Festival is an event tailor-made for those who love to sample food. Bring your adventurous stomach and get ready for the tastiest fall festival in the state!
In its 15th year, The Connecticut Garlic And Harvest Festival promises fantastic food and fun and games. Bring the whole family to the Bethlehem Fairgrounds October 12 - 13, 2019 for an unforgettable autumn outing.
The festival is full of garlic. As stinky as that might sound, it's also wonderfully delicious. Enjoy sampling food from specialty vendors, watching cooking demonstrations, and dining at the garlic food court.
Find bread, dips, spreads, oils, cheeses, and much more. You can nibble your way through the vendor area as most offer FREE samples of their yummy goods.
All of that tasting will probably have you hungering for more. Head over to the garlic food court for garlic hot dogs, garlic ravioli, garlic sausage, deep-fried garlic, and more!
Discover even some quite unexpected garlic dishes like bowls of garlic-flavored ice cream. Trust us - you'll want to try it.
If you need to work up an appetite, the midway is loaded with rides that will do the trick. From a giant slide to a traditional Ferris wheel, there's plenty to keep you busy.
There are even pint-sized attractions for the little members of your family. From tamer amusement rides to arts and crafts, the kids will have a blast.
Are you ready to "Eat, Drink, and Stink" for the weekend? Head out to The Connecticut Garlic And Harvest Festival, it's sure to be loads of fall fun and tasty eats.
