This is one of the best places to be in the fall! The pick your own farm also has ice cream and more turkeys than you can count! When Thanksgiving nears, they dye the turkeys, making for a colorful animal experience.

Get ready to explore your wild side! Get hands on with science as you learn about the surrounding nature, including a butterfly house. Kids will especially love this place!
7. UConn Animal Barns (Storrs)
Come see the UConn students hard at work and say hello to the animals. They have all the farm animals you can think of, coupled with a lovely campus. Finish the tour with a trip to the dairy bar for some tasty ice cream.
8. Avery's Beverages (New Britain)
All the look and feel of a farm, but with something totally different hidden inside! This is actually a soda factory, complete with a tour that lets you create your own original soda flavors. You have to try it!
9. The Roseledge Country Inn (Preston)
This historic property offers a relaxing bed and breakfast getaway. So grab a pal and head down for a true escape, complete with a tea room. There are even delicacies prepared with homegrown flowers!
10. Creamery Brook Bison (Brooklyn)
Come meet the herd at this charming bison farm! The 40 minute wagon tour will let you see the expansive grounds, and the store will let you purchase some fresh meats. You can even sample a bison burger!
