Located in Tariffville, Connecticut, Present Company Restaurant opened its doors in August 2016. The 19th-century mill previously housed another restaurant known as Mill at 2T. Chef Lizotte wanted to have a restaurant where he could be close to the source for his fresh ingredients.

Chef Jeff Lizotte established a name for himself long before opening Present Company Restaurant. His roots began in France and he has worked for restaurants such as Bistro La Tupina and La Bastido Saint-Antoine in France, La Birnadin in New York, and ON 20 in Hartford. The Connecticut Restaurant Association named him the 2019 Chef of the Year.
