In all, the trip will require about 2.5 hours of driving and will take you through about 120 miles of gorgeous Connecticut landscape.
The Connecticut College Arboretum is one of our favorite botanical gardens in Connecticut in any season. This 750-acre oasis is nearly 100 years old, and it's home to some stunning flowering plants and trees that are especially beautiful in the springtime. Everything from azaleas to ferns is present here, and it's a lovely place to get out and enjoy nature.
