Where was Noel Diary filmed? This is one Christmas movie filmed in Connecticut that was made almost entirely within the Nutmeg State. You'll recognize various familiar locales in the film, like New Canaan.

This scene may look straight out of the dead of winter, but the movie set was actually constructed during the summer. All of the snow is artificial, and the film is set in a fictional New England town called Maple Falls.
You'll catch a glimpse of several famous Essex locations, too, like the Griswold Inn. This is one of the oldest inns in the country, and in The Noel Diary, it's known as Maple Falls Inn.
