To be such a small and densely-populated state, it’s amazing how many parks and natural preserves are in Connecticut. We’ve got acres and acres of protected land, from our gorgeous state parks and forests to our rolling hills and farmlands. One of the prettiest hidden gems in Connecticut is the Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust, tucked away in Woodbury, right in the heart of the Litchfield Hills. This is a great place for a stroll or to take the whole family out to enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds us in the Nutmeg State.
Have you ever visited any of the Flanders Nature Center locations? For more information about the land trust, check out the Flanders Nature Center website or Facebook page. There are always events going on, so make sure to check for the calendar of upcoming classes and seminars!
