As the cold weather starts to set in, snow season is upon us but that doesn’t mean you have to stay inside wrapped up in a blanket by the fire. There are plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors once the white stuff hits the ground. At the Woodbury Ski Area there is plenty of fun to be had especially if you are brave enough to try their epic snow tubing hill!
Woodbury Ski Area is the largest tubing park in Connecticut. There is close to a mile of snowy tubing trails at this fantastic park.
You can choose from 14 different snow tubing trails for a fun filled afternoon. There are beginner trails for those just starting out and more thrilling expert trails with twists, turns and bumps.
If you need a break from all the fast paced snow activities, hit the lodge and warm up by the fire. You can also sit down, relax and grab a quick bite to eat.
Snow tubing is available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Remember that once the temperatures drop below freezing, Woodbury Ski Area is open for business. They work hard at creating their own snow so we can enjoy tubing, skiing and boarding for the entire season.
