The Natchaug River meanders through Connecticut showing its beauty with every twist and turn, but perhaps the most scenic spot of all along the river is Diana’s Pool. Large boulders trap crystal clear water creating a natural pool that is absolutely stunning.
Diana's Pool is a little oasis in the town of Chaplin. Large boulders and forested river banks surround this small natural wonder.
You'll find two small waterfalls, the upper falls drop just four feet into the pool. The lower falls display a rippling curtain of water that drops three feet into the river below.
To visit the waterfalls and pool from the intersection of US-6 and CT 198 in Chaplin, follow CT 198 north for about 1/2 mile, turn right on Diana's Pool Road. The parking area is on the left.
