Ever get tired of hiking the same old popular trails in Connecticut? We have quite a few – obviously, they’re popular for a reason! We aren’t denying that the great tried-and-true hikes are worth checking out. However, there are lots of lesser-known trails in the Nutmeg State that are just as much fun. If you’re looking for a quiet afternoon out in nature, look no further than the Washburn Preserve in Branford. This nature preserve is pretty quiet and rarely gets very crowded. Here, you’ll find a wonderful trail that’s worthy of an adventure!
