But if you’re looking for the largest Christmas tree in Connecticut, look no further than Lake Compounce. This amusement park is best-known for summer fun, with tons of rides and even an included water park. But it also puts on a holiday light extravaganza that’s one of the best Christmas celebrations in New England. Check it out:
Lake Compounce is the oldest continually operating amusement park in the United States. The park opened up in 1892 and now spans 332 acres, with a water park and an amusement park on site.
As you can imagine, the park is immensely popular in the summer. But you do not want to miss the Christmas celebration here! This is one of the best Christmas light shows in Connecticut, and the 2022 event is the longest yet.
