Here in Connecticut, we’re incredibly lucky to be surrounded by natural beauty. In the autumn months, Mother Nature ups her game here, blanketing the landscape with rich hues of orange, red and yellow. If there’s a perfect time to hike around a lake, this is it. Make plans now to visit Crescent Lake!
Crescent Lake is located in the park on Shuttle Meadow Road in Southington.
The red trail goes right around the perimeter of the lake and makes a two-mile loop. The green trail is 1.5 miles and is located south of the lake. The yellow trail is hilly and more strenuous. It lies along the north portion of the lake and is three miles long. Click here for the trail map.
This lake should definitely be on your fall bucket list. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy one, two or three hikes while you're here.
