Modern life has a great many conveniences. It’s fantastic being able to log on your computer or cell phone and order items to be sent to your front porch. But there’s something to be said for the days of yore when we all shared the same community store. Traveling down to a general store to pick up groceries and home goods used to be a weekly tradition that has gone by the wayside for most.
