But I can assure you that the locals know what is hidden behind the plain facade, because they come out in droves to sample Connecticut’s best seafood every chance that they get!

The appetizers are right on point and a fantastic start to your meal. Choose from sumptuous crab cakes, bacon wrapped scallops, fried calamari or the unparalleled sauteed calamari.
I speak from experience when I say you absolutely have to try the sauteed calamari. They are fried with a roasted garlic sauce, pepperoncinis, lemon and grated cheese. I don't how these few ingredients make such a divine dish, but this is one you won't want to miss!

Daily specials like this rosemary skewered shrimp with sweet and spicy peanut sauce add new choices to the tried and true menu.
Chef Adam is a genius in the kitchen and is constantly coming up with new ways to use seasonal ingredients to show off his skill and creativity while making diners very, very happy.

Of course, you can find the signature hot lobster roll overflowing with the sweet lobster that Nutmeggers are known to favor.
The food sings with the care that is taken in preparing it. Whether you order fish, shellfish or even a land lover's dish, you will not be disappointed.
Although you can get a mouth-watering burger or french dip, who would want to when you have lobster grilled cheese sandwiches on the menu?
Bomster Scallops are caught right off the coast. Within an hour of being caught, they are hand shucked and rinsed in sea water. The scallops are then vacuum packed and flash frozen right on the boat. This eliminates the chance for ice crystals on the precious seafood and keeps the taste incredibly fresh.
