Ah, spring. Vibrant flowers spread their sweet aroma through the air and people flock to the parks to enjoy Connecticut’s stunning scenery. It doesn’t really feel like spring though, until you’ve gone to the Meriden Daffodil Festival. What began as a modest community event has blossomed into a seasonal staple that attracts more than 100,000 people each year. The festivities kick off during the last week of April. Add this to your calendar! This colorful party is fun for the whole family.
On the last Saturday and Sunday in April, thousands of visitors flock to Hubbard Park for the annual Meriden Daffodil Festival.
But that's not the only attraction at the Meriden Daffodil Festival. You can also peruse the selection at the giant craft fair. Dozens of local businesses will set up shop and showcase their unique goods.
Musicians will entertain guests throughout the day.
