Visitors have seen everything from lovely songbirds to sneaky foxes. Keep your eye out -- bobcats and bears are known to inhabit the area, though they rarely cause an issue for guests.
Although it's short, the Yellow Trail loop can be a bit challenging. This scenic journey leads you up a steep incline to the Shenipsit Lake overlook. You may work up a sweat, but the end views are absolutely worth it.
