Brewport in Bridgeport is located near the Long Island Ferry. It has a very large seating area featuring wooden cable spools as tables. You can order flights that have a selection of four beers so you can try multiple flavors.
One of the greatest things about Brewport is the thin crust specialty pizzas that they offer. They combine unique ingredients to create some pretty spectacular flavor combinations. Make sure you check out their pizza of the day for something really special.

2. These Guys Brewing Company
Located in Norwich, These Guys Brewing Company are all about the pairing of fantastic beer with fabulous food. Beers with names like Prom Night and Beautiful Stranger will leave you only wanting more of these delicious brews.
These Guys Brewery offer a more upscale fare like their pan seared monkfish with red bliss potatoes in a light caper and pea puttanesca sauce. Each dish pairs well with beers that they serve, so you can be sure to get a combination that satisfies your taste buds. The asian style wings are a very popular item that pack a lot of flavor, and are a delicious way to start any meal.

3. City Steam Brewery Cafe
Located in downtown Hartford, City Steam Brewery Cafe combines locally brewed beer with a full menu of American favorites. The beer menu is big and many of the selections have super unique names.
The food at this brewery is really top notch. Some favorites include the steak sandwich, fried pickles,
salmon and frickle burger. The macaroni and cheese is delightful and brings customers back again and again.

4. Alvarium Beer Company
Alvarium Beer Company of New Britain has a historical theme that suits this brewery well. They have a nice selection of beers both from their own brewery and other local companies. They are rather famous for their soft pretzels that pair perfectly with the local beer.
In addition to pretzels, the Alvarium Beer Company also serves locally made kielbasa with sauerkraut on a bun. If that isn't enough for you, there are choices from local food trucks like mouth-watering barbecue.

5. Two Roads Brewing Company
Two Roads Brewery can be found in Stratford. They offer a large selection of beers including their Road to Ruin Double IPA and Workers Comp Farmhouse Ale. There are tours available if you are interested in learning about the brewing process.
The industrial modern feel of this brewery gives off a good solid vibe. In addition to the great beers found here, there is some pretty awesome brewery food as well. The crowd favorite is Not Your Mom's Grilled Cheese which has a blend of cheddar, swiss and American on sourdough bread - yum!

6. Willimantic Brewing Company
Offering something new almost every time you visit, Willimantic Brewing Company has quite a few varieties of beer and a substantial menu. It is located in what was once a post office and has quite a reputation for its delicious Fitchville Fried Calamari.
The pulled pork nachos are undeniably the best dish to pair with local beer, they are loaded with flavor and piled high on a plate. Other recommendations include the salmon, pasta and burgers. You won't go hungry at this brewery.

7. The Hops Company
Not only does The Hops Company serves some might fine beer, it has an award winning beer garden. The outdoor space is absolutely stunning and covers 4.5 acres so that all the guests have space to enjoy themselves. The food that is paired with the beer makes a great combination. The menu features bratwurst, kielbasa, knackwurst and fried pierogies that are all packed with flavor. You can also grab a variety of nachos and wings as well.

8. Cold Creek Brewery
Found in the northern part of Connecticut, Cold Creek Brewery offers superb brews and a festive environment. They provide plenty of board games so you can definitely have fun with family and friends at this local brewery.

If you love wings, then this is the place to get them. Served up by Cold Creek Tavern, the signature beer wings are soaked in a beer of the chef's choice for 8 hours before being fried up and ready to serve. You can get them plain or tossed in BBQ, sweet Asian chili, firecracker, or hot sauce.
