Great news, Colorado: garage sale season is only a few months away, and this year’s selection might just be the best ever. If you’ve heard of Marie Kondo’s new smash hit TV show – which features an easy cleaning and organizing method that fans are absolutely loving – you know that thousands of people have started deep cleaning and setting aside some pretty epic items to sell or donate. We’re sure to see a wide selection of sales popping up once the warmer weather arrives, but why wait until spring to start saving money? There are tons of awesome winter flea markets right here in Colorado where you’ll find amazing treasures all season long. Here are seven to check out:
1. Federal Indoor Flea Market (Denver)
Come winter, there is no better place to be than INSIDE, which is where this indoor flea market comes into play. Billed for being a low-key indoor market, Federal Flea may look a little rough around the edges, but once you get inside you are sure to find new and used treasures around every corner.
Address: 830 Federal Blvd., Denver, CO 80204
Hours: Every day from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
2. Tables to Teacups (Longmont)
Named one of the Best Antique Mall and Flea Markets on the Front Range in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, Tables to Teacups is quite possibly the cutest consignment shops you’ll ever see, and features a huge assortment of furniture, antiques, home decor, and more.
Address: 455 Weaver Park Rd. #600, Longmont, CO 80501
Hours: Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
3. Colorado Springs Flea Market (Colorado Springs)
Winters in Colorado can be downright frigid, but when you can score incredible deals by being outside, you best put on your coat! Open every Saturday and Sunday, the Colorado Springs Flea Market boasts not only killer inventory and deals, but also delicious food, live music, and rides and inflatables for the little ones.
Address: 5225 E Platte Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80915
Hours: Saturday & Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
4. Talk of the Town Antique Mall (Grand Junction)
Though its name said "antique mall," we consider Talk of the Town to be a flea market, as it holds all sorts of treasures and a similar set-up to others on this list. While it's maze-like interior may seem overwhelming, just take a deep breath and dive in, as you are sure to find something new for your home.
Address: 2458 I-70BL, Grand Junction, CO 81501
Hours: Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
5. Deja Vu Boutique (Steamboat Springs)
Do you enjoy the finer things in life (like skiing in Steamboat)? Then Deja Vu is for you! Serving the Steamboat Springs community for more than 10 years, Deja Vu is the largest clothing consignment store in northwest Colorado and carries such coveted named brands as Anthropologie, Athleta, Lululemon, and more.
Address: 624 Lincoln Ave., Steamboat Springs, CO 80487
Hours: Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
6. Pueblo Trading Post (Pueblo)
Back in the day, trading posts were a vital part of the American economy, as they offered goods to normally underserved areas. Fast forward to today, however, and places like the Pueblo Trading Post are a treasure hunter’s heaven-on-earth, as they sell not only food and household necessities, but also clothes, toys, and collectibles.
Address: 1153 S Prairie Ave., Pueblo, CO 81005
Hours: Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
7. Garden City Flea Market (Greeley)
Before we bid you adieu, let us take a trip up north to Greeley and its must-visit Garden City Flea Market! This amazing place was referred to me as a "digger's paradise," and Garden City Flea has some of the most random - and most epic - merchandise, including yard instruments, custom-designed and printed shirts, coins, and even a section for pagans (if that is your jam).
Address: 2626 8th Ave., Greeley, CO 80631
Hours: Every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
