There is no arguing that Colorado is craft brew country, but some days still call for the dry and fruity goodness of a good, old-fashioned wine. If you want to take your fermented grape experience to the next level, consider making your own at this delicious Centennial State winery:
Welcome to Wild Women Wine, a Denver tradition that specializes in a welcoming (and tantalizing) tasting room...
...a large selection of sassy and brilliantly named Sauvignon Blancs, Chardonnays, and Pinot Noirs...
...and special events that you do not want to miss!
Serving the community for more than 10 years, Wild Women Wine was founded by a "Chief Wild Woman" from Texas who "trekked to the high country of Colorado to work with her vintner husband on wines that embody the spirit of wild women everywhere."
Fast forward to today and you have the fabulousness that is Wild Women Wines.
As if the famed wines themselves were not reason enough to visit, WWW also offers a fun and unique experience, which is that of creating your own wine!
"With our state of the art, fully-equipped winemaking facility and our expert vintner by your side, you’ll experience the fun of creating your own custom handcrafted wine," promises Wild Women Wine, which will help you make your own Viognier, Zinfandel, or anything else you can imagine.
(Seriously, how fun is this?)
Wild Women Wine is located at 1660 Champa St. in Denver and is open Tuesday through Thursday from 12 pm to 8 pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 12 pm to 10 pm, and on Sundays from 12 pm to 6 pm.
