It is no secret that snow tubing is one of the most fun things ever to do, but what may come as a surprise is that this winter sport is not only encouraged in Colorado, but celebrated! Are you ready to get your snow tube on? Then make plans to attend this epic Centennial State festival:
Taking place December 1st through the 10th is Frisco's highly anticipated Wassail Days, which pairs homemade wassail with the town's other beloved holiday traditions.
Just what is wassail? As per the Town of Frisco, wassail is a type of hot cider, served up by numerous local businesses who encourage guests "to taste at least 12 different types of wassail at 12 different locations and fill their '12 Sips of Wassail Card.'"
Once your card is filled up, you can receive a commemorative Wassail Days mug! Fun, right?
In addition to enjoying warm and satisfying wassail, guests at Wassail Days can also treat themselves to the town's colorful tree lighting...
...delicious "Soup Cup Classic"...
...visits and/or breakfast with Santa...
...and, of course, FREE snow tubing at the unforgettable Frisco Adventure Park!
(Do you have a little more Christmas shopping to do? The charming shops in downtown Frisco can help with that, too!)
For a complete schedule of the 2017 Wassail Days festival, be sure to check out the Town of Frisco's website .
