Do you pine for the days when music on the radio was good and consisted of Elvis, Johnny Cash, and Chuck Berry? While these legends are sadly gone, their memory lives on at one of the best themed restaurants in Colorado, which boasts menu items named after iconic rock stars:
Welcome to Rockabillies, which boasts "Rockin' Great Food and Rockin' Great Times."
Located in Arvada, Rockabillies is billed as the city's most popular live music venue, restaurant, and burger bar, and for a great reason, beginning with its unique music-inspired atmosphere complete with a jukebox, pictures of old bands, and a stage for live performances.
While the ambiance is reason enough to visit, it's the clever and delicious menu that has us coming back for seconds, beginning with menu options like the Elvis Presley (grilled chicken, bacon, mushrooms, jalapenos, white American cheese, and ranch dressing), Roy Orbison (hand-battered chicken, Buffalo sauce, tomatoes, lettuce, and ranch dressing), and Gene Vincent (Italian sausage, marinara, peppers, and provolone).
While the sandwiches make us want to shake, rattle, and roll, Rockabillies also serves burgers a la the Little Richard (a 1/4-pound beef patty with white cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onion), Memphis (BBQ sauce, crispy onion strings, and bacon), and Blues (bacon and blue cheese crumbles).
