Is it just me or are out-of-staters somewhat easy to spot when they visit Colorado? While tourists try their best to fit in, they almost always stand out in several different ways, which is why we compiled this short and sweet list of the eight types of tourists you will always find in Colorado:
He/she loves their team and wants to represent them wherever they go (even if that means they will be mocked and/or turned away at different businesses because of their ridiculous Patriots jersey)! If and when you encounter this person, you have our full blessing to yell, "[Insert team name here] stinks! Go, Broncos!"
Not sure how to spot a marijuana tourist? No, it isn't based on whether or not they are high as a kite (as you will find that with a quarter of native Coloradans), but instead, if they are taking pictures both outside and inside one of our many dispensaries.

The only time you will run into this tourist is - obviously - at one of our many ski resorts, unless he or she decides to venture out to the local dispensary to become a dual ski bum/marijuana tourist.
Sure, Coloradans like to take pictures, too, but out-of-towners tend to take photos of every little thing. (Can you blame them?)
Honestly, this type of tourist can be harder to pick out, but can typically be identified by either their non-Colorado accent or by doing something stupid (like walking across the log at Hanging Lake or voluntarily eating at Casa Bonita).
Do you want to know a straightforward way to spot a tourist in Colorado? Aside from driving in the far right lane along I-25, a tourist almost always stops at a red light vs. gunning it before oncoming traffic crosses. I mean, who does that?!
