Colorado has no shortage of fabulous restaurants, but it’s always worth your time to go a little farther afield and explore new places to dine. Here’s a wonderful restaurant that is a long drive for many, but well worth it.
The little town of Basalt is 18 miles northwest of Aspen. It's well-known for its excellent fishing opportunities, and located close to some of Colorado's best skiing in winter months, but it's a long drive for many Coloradans.
One of the town's best restaurants is Tempranillo, which serves authentic, creative Spanish and Italian cuisine. It's located at 165 Midland Avenue in Basalt.
