Temperatures continue to skyrocket, and school is back in session, which means summer is coming to a close, and fall will be here before we know it. Before the leaves begin to change colors and fall, however, there is one last thing you need to do, which is visit this gigantic field of sunflowers that is currently in bloom in Colorado:
Hiding away near Denver International Airport is arguably the biggest and best sunflower field in the Centennial State.
Featuring thousands upon thousands of bright and cheery sunflowers, this field is a favorite of photographers and backroad drivers alike, thanks to its gorgeous sights and fragrant smells.
Please note: Farms are private property, and this sunflower field and farm are no exception, with the Adams County Sheriff's Department reminding visitors: It is a crime to go onto other people's property, even if there are no signs prohibiting trespassing. Criminal trespass carries a penalty of up to six months in jail and a $750 fine. And although our county roads are not heavily traveled, all traffic laws still apply.
Despite not being able to go onto the property, visitors can still get a great view from the surrounding road, so remember to be respectful and not to forget your camera!
