It’s waterfall season, Colorado! Whether you are a Centennial State native, have lived here a while, or are a tourist who has done your research, you know know that Colorado is chock-full of these natural wonders. So how does one decide which to visit? We suggest checking out this iconic Colorado waterfall:
Seven Falls is located in Colorado Springs and is considered Colorado's "Most Majestic Waterfall."
The falls tumble for 181 feet down a box canyon that cuts through the Pillars of Hercules in South Cheyenne Canyon.

Seven Falls was first opened to the public in the early 1800s and has been privately owned by a handful of different individuals and companies over the years.
In 2013, a devastating flood forced the falls to close, after which the iconic Broadmoor Resort swooped in to buy the property and re-open the attraction, though it took nearly two years to renovate.
When you arrive, you'll encounter a steep 224-step staircase leading to the top of the falls (as well as a nearby elevator if you're not up for the climb).
From here, you can also take several hiking trails that lead along the banks of the stream, although you'll probably want to stop to catch your breath and appreciate the view from the top!
While most people visit during the day, Seven Falls is just as magical at night, when colorful lights are turned on to illuminate the falls after the sun goes down.
The restaurant is open seasonally for lunch and dinner. You'll definitely want to snag a seat on the epic patio if you can! Reservations are recommended if you're planning on dining here.
It's a tough climb to the top, but the views make it SO worth the effort.
