For the last month, Colorado (and the world as a whole) has been getting hit with bad news after bad news, with no sign of normalcy or comfort in sight. At least, that’s what we thought until we saw these springtime weather predictions for Colorado, which forecast unseasonably warm and dry temperatures:

Get ready to take a scenic hike around your porch, Colorado (#stayhomestaysafe), as the Climate Prediction Center forecasts this spring to be both unseasonably warm and dry!

As per its Three Month Outlook - which covers the months of April, May, and June - the Climate Prediction Center shows Colorado sitting at an above-average probability of 33 to 40%, with a precipitation probability of 33% less than usual.

Also stated in the report is that the April, May, and June (or AMJ) temperature outlook predicts above-average temperatures for not only Colorado but the country as a whole, particularly northwest Alaska, California and the Southwest, as well as the Gulf and eastern coasts.
