Can you believe that Christmas is just around the corner and that it is time, once again, to begin planning for another holiday season? We know, we know: As of this publication, it is only September, and there are still several events to go before Jolly Old St. Nicholas makes his appearance. Still, it is our duty at Only in Colorado to inform you that tickets will soon go on sale for the iconic Polar Express and you will want to get yours ASAP:
Taking place the weekend of November 7th and 8th, and then every Wednesday through Sunday from November 11th through December 23rd (minus Thanksgiving Eve and Day), The Polar Express is a beloved holiday tradition that is delightful for Coloradans of all ages.
Located at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, the Polar Express a 75-minute train ride that brings the classic Christmas story to life via a complete telling of the story, plus cookies and cocoa, a cast of colorful characters, and - of course - a visit with St. Nicholas himself!
Please note: Like nearly everything else this year, the Polar Express will be adopting new health and safety precautions amidst the pandemic, making for a safe and enjoyable experience.
Tickets for children and adults range from $60 through $120 and include not only your ride and refreshments but also a “First Gift of Christmas” souvenir bell.
