Considered the "Western Gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park," Grand Lake is at an elevation of 8,369 feet and sits along the shores of the largest natural lake in the state.

Kaufman House Museum is housed in a former log hotel that was in operation from when it was built in 1892 until 1946. Today you can view exhibits maintained by the Grand Lake Area Historical Society.
With its Old West feel, Grand Lake's historic and charming boardwalk boasts 60 locally-owned shops, galleries, ice cream parlors, candy stores, and restaurants. It's the perfect place for an afternoon stroll.
