You have visited Colorado greasy spoons that have been around since the 1950s and can attest that they have some of the best food… But have you ever visited a business that is more than 100 years old? Needless to say, such an establishment has to be top-notch to stand the test of time, which is precisely what you will find at Kochevar’s Saloon:
Nestled away in Crested Butte, Kochevar's Saloon is an old-time saloon and restaurant with a history as good as its menu.
Established in 1886 by Jacob Kochevar, his namesake saloon and gaming hall has worn many hats over the years (one being a brothel) and welcomed such notorious customers as Butch Cassidy.
While the regulars are a little more civilized these days, you can still catch a glimpse of the Old West at Kochevar's Saloon, thanks to its rustic, no-frills ambiance.
While the drink menu is reason enough to visit, you will want to also look over the impressive food selection, which includes everything from classic bar food to burgers, sandwiches, and various specials.
