When you think of foodie destinations, which places come to mind? Maybe someplace like San Fransisco, New Orleans, or Savannah? While all of the above is correct, you are forgetting the best of all: Colorado as a whole! While we may be a little biased, we do have proof to back it up, like the fact that the New York Times just named 2 Colorado restaurants as some of the best in the country:
Welcome to the New York Times' The Restaurant List 2021 , which features the "50 places in America we're most excited about right now," including Colorado's very own Frasca (pictured) and Comal Heritage Food Incubator!
As per the Times, the "Food desk dispatched critics, reporters and editors around the country to find the 50 most vibrant and delicious restaurants in 2021," beginning with Denver's Comal Heritage Food Incubator.
Billed for being a "heritage food incubator that supports immigrant and refugees entrepreneurs in the Denver community," Comal is arguably one of the best places to eat in the city in terms of both delicious food and humanitarianism.
With a menu curated by the immigrant women, there is always something new to sample at Comal, including Salvadorian, Ethiopian, and Syrian fare.

If you are looking for unique small plates and platters inspired by the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia region in northeastern Italy, the New York Times recommends none other than Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder.
"Every college town has a special-occasion restaurant for recent graduates and newly tenured professors, but it’s unlikely any are as ambitious and refined as Frasca," gushes the Times, and we couldn't agree more.
Famous for its Quattro Piatti (or 4-course menu), guests of Frasca will enjoy authentic bites and one of the best wine and cocktail lists in the Centennial State. Salute!
