Fall is in the air everywhere we look around, which means it is time to break out the scarves and pumpkins and bring in this most colorful time of year! Do you want to take your fall-time fun to new heights? Then you will want to attend the can’t-miss Mountain Harvest Festival, one of the best fall festivals in Colorado.
Located in Paonia, the Mountain Harvest Festival is the BEST way to kick off fall, and wait until you see why!
Billed as an "annual celebration of local music, art, farms, food and spirits organized by the nonprofit organization North Fork Valley Creative Coalition," the Mountain Harvest Festival features a little something for everyone, beginning with concerts and special readings at the tented outdoor space behind the Blue Sage Center for the Arts.
Is there anything quite as charming as a farm in the fall? You can decide for yourself, as the Mountain Harvest Festival even offers tours of local farms!
The answer, by the way, is no: there is nothing quite as charming.
If you are bringing the kids, be sure also to check out the designated KidZone, parade, and airplane fly-by.
Established in 2001, the 3-day Mountain Art Festival also features a popular chili cook-off, Saturday Sundown Swing dance, and arts and crafts vendors.
Need we mention that the food at the Mountain Harvest Festival is downright mouthwatering?
