If you know, you know: Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most glorious places in the Centennial State, thanks to its vast and colorful landscape and some of the best outdoor recreation in the country. While we may be biased, we also happen to think that Rocky Mountain National Park may be one of the most stunning parks in the world! Come to find out, we aren’t the only ones who think this, as RMNP was just named one of the most stunning parks in the world by an international news site:
As per the publication - which used data collated by Mainland Aggregates and Instagram - RMNP was present in more than 537,000 IG posts, adding that the Colorado park is best known for its "pretty peaks and incredible zig-zagging roads."
In addition to the many Instagram posts, MSN also noted that RMNP was a no brainer because of its iconic Trail Ridge Road, which soars "over 12,000 feet (3657m) at its peak" and is "the highest continuous paved road in the U.S. and boasts epic views of the mountains."
Established by President Woodrow Wilson in 1915, Rocky Mountain National Park truly is one of the most beautiful parks in the world, thanks to not only Trail Ridge Road but also jaw-dropping landscapes and wildlife galore.
In addition to its beauty, Rocky Mountain National Park is also an outdoor enthusiasts' playground, as it houses incredible trails, world-class skiing, camping, fishing, and so much more.
