Colorado is famous for being home to food that is not only delicious, but affordable (by the way, world, you’re welcome for both Chipotle and Noodles & Co.). However, on the flip side, our tastes can sometimes be a little more expensive, which is where this Denver restaurant and it’s ridiculously-priced entree comes into play:

Located inside the swanky Four Seasons Denver is the equally posh EDGE Restaurant & Bar; a “progressive American steakhouse” that offers “Colorado-ranched beef and other prime cuts seared to perfection over a pecan wood-fired grill.” Featuring tried and true favorites like a Three-Egg Denver Omelet, Filet Mignon, and Chocolate Almond Cake, EDGE is a Denver go-to for all things fresh and flavorful.

In addition to the mentioned breakfast, dinner, and dessert options, EDGE also offers the most expensive meal in Colorado: the 6-ounce, melt-in-your-mouth 100% Japanese A5 Wagyu steak, which comes complete with its own certificate of authenticity AND a cool $200 price tag. Now, I have never had this prime cut of beef, but I am told it is the best thing you will ever taste, making the high price completely justifiable to some.

EDGE is located at 1111 14th St in Denver and is open daily from 6:30 am to 2 pm for lunch and 5 pm to 10 pm for dinner. For more information, please visit EDGE’s website.

What do you think: Would you ever splurge (just a bit) and get this $200 Wagyu steak? Let us know in the comments!
