How does a quiet hike upon which you probably won’t see anyone else sound? Great? There are few places in Colorado where this is the case due to our highly active population, many of whom are hitting the trails every day, or at least every weekend. However, you can get a quiet and secluded hike if you head out to the plains, and one excellent trail on the plains that you should check out is the Picture Canyon Trail in the Comanche National Grassland.
You’re going to love this trail and your quiet time walking along it. The Comanche National Grassland is a very special part of Colorado that few people visit!
Taking a road trip to southeastern Colorado? Be sure to pack some snacks!
