This Incredible Kite Festival In Colorado Is A Must-See
There is nothing quite as whimsical and nostalgic as a colorful kite… in fact, I would venture to guess that nearly all adults have fond memories of flying these fun contraptions during their childhood! If you are nodding along in agreement and are longing to take a trip down memory lane, take the family to a fun event, or just see something new, you will want to experience this incredible Colorado kite festival:
Scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 21st, the 10th Annual Kites in the Park is a free family event that is sure to delight both children and adults alike. Located at the Spring Canyon Community Park in Fort Collins, Kites in the Park runs from 10 am to 3 pm and allows guests to showcase their kite-flying skills with thousands of other enthusiastic attendees. As if this wasn’t fun in and of itself, Kites in the Park will also showcase both kite “ballets” and “battles,” as well as kite making stations, food vendors, and unique demonstrations. (Since organizers predict a crowd of more than 8,000, it is recommended to show up early for the event and to take advantage of the free parking at Hughes Stadium!)
