Do you know what is even better than feeling like a kid in a candy store? It is feeling like a kid in a children’s bookstore, of course! If you feel the same, you are in luck, as Colorado’s iconic Tattered Cover bookstore just opened its first children’s specialty store, and it is every bit as magical as it sounds:
Tucked away in the historic Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, the new Tattered Cover bookstore is a colorful and imaginative space that is sure to bring out the kid in everyone.
Featuring an impressive 1,400 square feet, the new Tattered Cover - or Children's Store at Stanley Marketplace - is a first-of-its-kind concept for the Denver bookstore, as it caters directly to the Centennial State's youngest residents and their grownups.
No matter your age, you are sure to find something to love at the Children's Store, as the shop will not only "focus solely on books and non-book items for kids" but will also have titles for older kids, storytimes, book signings, and other special events.
“Our dream is that every child in Colorado can have a memory of falling in love with a book or a type of a book or an author during their visit to Tattered Cover," shared CEO Kwame Spearman, which is sure to happen via this magical new space!
When you visit the new Tattered Cover, be sure also to check out all of the Stanley Marketplace's other offerings, including restaurants, spas and salons, boutiques, and specialty stores.
