Remember when you were a kid and wanted nothing more than to grow up, get a job, get married, and do all of that seemingly fun stuff? I remember it well (and come to find out, being an adult kind of sucks.) If you long for the days of your childhood and wish you could revisit it (if only for a few minutes), you’re in luck, as Colorado is home to this unique, Willie Wonka-esque ice cream shop that is sure to make you feel like a kid again.
Welcome to the magical Inventing Room; one of Denver's newest businesses that serves up awesome treats with a side of fascinating science.
Opened in the fall of 2015 by Chef Ian Kleinman, the Inventing Room is a fun new concept in desserts in that it allows visitors the chance to see their dairy treat whipped up in front of them and then bathed in a bath of liquid nitrogen.
A few of Chef Ric's famous ice cream concoctions include
Colorado Peach Rice Pudding with Pistachio Ice Cream (pictured), Peanut Butter Mousse with Grape Jelly Cotton Candy, and even a S'mores Ice Cream Sandwich.
The scientific (and tasty!) fun doesn't end at just ice cream; the Inventing Room also serves up a variety of other snacks including these Really Cold Cheetos, Cinnamon Chocolate Nitro Popcorn, and Lemon Head Space Foam.
